With growing demand for Technology and Machine tools by the gems and jewellery industry of India, leading companies from the sector have been demanding for more space within the IIJS [India International Jewellery Show], the largest gem and jewellery exhibition organised by GJEPC [Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council]. As the India Gem and Jewellery Machinery Expo shifts to IIJS Signature in February 2016, the machinery sector have been asking for an extension to be within the IIJS for a period of two more years, till Year 2017.

Machinery and Accessories Forum has been initiated by several Machinery and Technology companies to give a unified voice to the sector. A letter to this effect has been forwarded to GJEPC
