‘T-GOLD +METS’ Pavilion 2017 ends on a positive note

‘T-GOLD + METS’ Pavilion, co-organised by HKJJA Exhibition Services Limited and Italian Exhibition Group, returned to the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show in its second run during 2-6 March 2017 at Hall 5B, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This year, the Pavilion showcased 48 exhibitors coming from Hong Kong, Italy, mainland China, Turkey, the United Kingdom and Thailand joined the Pavilion in 67 booths, occupying an area of 621 square meters.

A complete range of avant-garde jewellery making machinery, equipment, technology and supplies was on display, from 3D printers, laser welding systems, equipment for mould-making, casting, stone-setting, polishing, finishing, assembling, quality control and packaging, to advanced production technology, rapid prototyping solutions, CAD software, photography equipment, testing equipment and supplies, precious metal processing apparatus, metal assaying devices, production management systems, security system services, warranty services, etc.

An after-show survey shows that each exhibitor had met over 50 new clients on average, most of them from Asia. Among the clients they received, 60 percent were manufacturers. Overall, the exhibitors were satisfied with the show and 81 percent said they had received new orders. A few exhibitors have already expressed their interest in participating in the next show.

To boost traffic, the Pavilion threw a beer party on the second day of the show to provide a networking opportunity for all exhibitors and selected industry practitioners to create new connections and strengthen ties with existing business partners. The event was graced by the presence of industry leaders, journalists and buyers from all around the world.

Subsequent to the remarkable success this year, the ‘T-GOLD + METS’ Pavilion will be staging again at the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show from 1 to 5 March 2018.
