Diamonds Do Good® Third Virtual Global Conversation Addresses “Bridging Barriers: How to Nurture Diversity in Your Business and Enhance Sales”

Featuring an Exclusive Interview with Botswana’s Ambassador to the United States and Permanent Secretary in charge of Diamond Mining in Botswana

Diamonds Do Good®’s third Virtual Global Conversation will address how increasing diversity and inclusion within your company is good for your business. DDG has convened designers, retailers and dignitaries from around the world for the event, which will take place March 11th from 11am -noon EST.

Rebecca Foerster, president of both Diamonds Do Good and Alrosa USA, will kick off the event with an in-depth interview with key governmental leaders of Botswana, one of the world’s top diamond-producing nations. Foerster will chat with His Excellency OnkokameKitsoMokaila, Botswana Ambassador to the United States; MmetlaMasire, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy; and Botswana-based designer BoitshokoKebakile of House of Divinity.

Diamonds Do Good co-founder Sally Morrison, PR Director of Natural Diamonds at De Beers will then moderate a revealing and inspiring discussion between innovative jewelrydesigners and key American retailers from both the luxury and mass-market sectors. Designers include Lola Oladunjoye of Paris-based Lola Fenhirst, Roxanne Rajcoomar-Hadden of London-based RRH Jewelry, and Lorraine West ofBrooklyn-based Lorraine West Jewelry. Retailers on the panel will be Kecia Caffie, SVP and General Manager at Piercing Pagoda, and Jennifer Gandia, co-owner at Greenwich St. Jewelers, a leading independent jewelry store in Soho, New York City.
