New Coating Thickness Measurement tool from Oxford Instruments
Oxford Instruments has introduced a new tool for coating thickness measurement and materials analysis. This new model, the MAXXI 6, is based on X-ray fluorescence technology. It encompasses a high resolution silicon drift detector (SDD), measuring thinnest coatings down to the nanoscale and element composition at trace level to ensure high quality control for up to date industrial standards.

The MAXXI 6 is made in Taunusstein, Germany and approved by the PTB (Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt) for the highest level of radiation safety.  More
SATO Group Launches SATO International to Advance Global Growth Strategy, Targets Overseas Sales Ratio of 40% By 2020

SATO, a global leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions, recently announced the official launch of SATO International, a new group company that will be located in Tokyo, Japan. The company will integrate and drive all aspects of overseas business activities including boosting earnings, improving group synergy, crafting and executing global strategy, supporting sales activities and customer management.

To ensure the rapid execution of the Group’s strategy, Kaz Matsuyama, President and CEO of SATO Holdings, will also serve as the head of SATO International, allowing for central management of global business operations and close cooperation between the headquarters and overseas group companies.

Yasuhiro Tanabe, who joined SATO in 2014, has been appointed as Vice President of the newly formed company. Prior to joining SATO, Mr. Tanabe spent close to 20 years at Sony in a variety of roles from product planning, marketing and sales, to production and general management. He also spent eight years of his career working in North America and Asia.  More
BVC Ventures Celebrated BVC Millionight

To mark their appreciation and celebrate the groups success, BVC Group of Companies hosted its first annual event, BVC Millionight to felicitate its employees for their long-standing support and commitment. A hundred and eighty employees, who have been associated with the group for five to thirty five years, were recognized for their contribution to the company on 17th January 2015, Saturday, at a grand event held at the MCA Club in Bandra Kurla Complex.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhavik Chinai, Director, BVC Ventures said, It is a momentous day for BVC Ventures as we are celebrating the success and growth of our employees along with the group. BVC Ventures has quadrupled in size in the past two years and this has been possible only due to our employees who have displayed true dedication to the company over their long tenures.
